On 30th April 2019, SVX Founder Simon Cheng caught this 10kg+ grade Hiramasa at Seven Miles in an afternoon Jigging Game during a trip to Japan's Kuroshio current area near Tsushima. The charter boat was Shin Kuroiwa Maru (新 黒岩丸) and the record was witnessed and verified by Captain Kuroiwa.
On 30th April 2019, SVX Founder Simon Cheng caught this 12kg+ grade Hiramasa at Seven Miles in an evening Casting Game during a trip to Japan's Kuroshio current area near Tsushima. The charter boat was Shin Kuroiwa Maru (新 黒岩丸) and the record was witnessed and verified by Captain Kuroiwa. This Hiramasa was caught on the last day of the Heisei era, truly a very memorable catch!
