In mid-September 2016, SVX USA Consultant Mr. Sami San caught this 45kg+ BlueFin Tuna in a morning Casting Game while testing the SVX rod series at Cape Cod Bay. The charter boat was Outermost Angling Charters and the record was witnessed and verified by Captain Josh. In the past few years Sami, the boss of Salty Water Tackle, has shared with us many valuable Tuna & GT fishing experience and rod blanks improvement ideas. On 21st September 2016, SVX Pro User Ah B (阿B) caught this 25kg+ grade YellowFin Tuna in a morning Jigging Game at Kaohsiung area during a trip to Southern Taiwan. The charter boat was Qixing Pro (旗興號) and the record was witnessed and verified by Captain Ken.
On 24th April 2017, SVX Pro User Yamada Motoki (山田 基) caught this 55kg grade Dogtooth Tuna in an evening Casting Game at north New Caledonia. The charter boat was PowerCat Charter and the record was witnessed and verified by Captain Oliver Love.
